50th ANNIVERSARY CONCERT

What is the show?

To celebrate our 50th Anniversary, the show is a revue of iconic songs from past ACT musicals. It will have solos from actors reprising their roles, chorus numbers, and audience sing-a-longs. The show is being music directed and arranged by Bob Finnie. It will perform one night only on Saturday, May 30 at 7:00pm at Aspen District Theatre.

 

What will the chorus do in the show?

The chorus will perform select ensemble songs, provide background support to solo numbers, and lead community sing-alongs. There will be harmonies, and the chorus will use their music binders on stage. The chorus may do some light movement, if able.

 

What is the time commitment?

There will be four Saturday rehearsals in May, plus three tech rehearsals leading up to the performance on Saturday, May 30. Chorus members should be able to attend at least three of the four Saturday rehearsals and all of the tech rehearsals.

 

Saturday rehearsals will be either in Aspen or Basalt based on final chorus participation.
